1. Get some YOU time!


    Carve out some quality time for yourself every day and do an activity that you enjoy. Be sure to schedule this time like you would a meeting, and follow through with it. It’ll boost your self-confidence and get you off the couch. You can oopt to do something active and fun like dancing. painting or even cooking can be quite relaxing. Stress levels in your body will effect your weight. So take out the stress and just concentrate on you. Your body will love you for it. 

  2. Move it! Move it!

    One hour of exercise a day is the key to getting rid of your excess weight. Plus The endorphin release you’ll get is one of the most natural and effective ways to enhance your mood. Research shows that a minimum of two days a week exercising will get you into the habit. Trust me when you exercise you’ll feel cheerier. Stop and you’ll notice that you become a lot moodier. Do you get moodier when you stop working out? I know i do!

  3. Chew Gum and Brush Your Teeth!

    If you want to stop random cravings and munchings, try this out. Everytime you get the urge to binge chew on gum. One stick is only about 5 calories! The motion of chewing preoccupies your mouth and mind making it easier to stop thinking about other food cravings. It’ll destress you, give you good breath and bring out your inner child 🙂

  4. Grab a piece of fruit. 


    Before you leave your house, be sure to take an apple or banana with you. When you’re out and about, you may not have access to healthy snacks when you get hungry. This could lead you straight to the drive-through. However, if you have a piece of fruit with you, you’ll have something to hold you over until you get home.

  5. Sleep An Hour Earlier !!!!

    You’ll be less likely to overeat the next day. Eating right and exercising regularly help ward off both stress and belly fat, but only if you’re getting enough sleep. Skimping on sleep causes levels of the stress hormone cortisol to rise, along with levels of deep abdominal fat. In a 6-year study, Canadian researchers found that adults who averaged just 5 or 6 hours of shut-eye a night were 35% more likely to gain 10-plus pounds and were nearly 60% heavier around the middle than those who slept 7 to 8 hours
