As I get older in life, family time with my parents gets more and more precious. I don’t get to spend a lot of time with my parents all the time, cause I’m always out of the house (Yeah  I still live with my parents… soooo?) So when Mother’s Day came around,  I decided to do something different to spend quality time with my mom.  Doing stuff with my mom is one the simplest joys in my life. She and I both talk a lot and hanging out with my mom is one of the best ways to catch up with her bout life. We also have a ball of a time, cause my mom has the lamest jokes.

My florist friend, Dianthus, from the Floral Designer mentioned she was organizing a class for Mother’s Day. Hence I signed up for it together with my Mama. My Mama is known in the family to have a green thumb. I originally thought she would have liked the arrangement class. To my surprise she was like noooooo, i don’t like doing stuff like that. -.- Really it was only because she had a bad experience in a flower arrangement class before.

Thankfully she had fun in this class. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, felt like I was in a little cottage. Dianthus who,  I call an effeminate chilli padi, is an adorable woman, who cares a lot for her flowers.

To find Dianthus, head on to Publika. Her shop is right next to the entrance of B.I.G aka Bens’ Independent Grocer. Her store looks like a mini glass garden!

You can find her here.
