02 Jul Get Certified and Go Diving at Pulau Tioman for Free!!
“The human world is a mess, life under the sea is better than anything they got up there…
Under the Sea, Under the Sea.. Down where is wetter, down where it’s better, take it from me.”
Words from Sebastian the talking crab and right hand man… um crab of King Triton in the movie The Little Mermaid. Heehee I love that song and it rings some truth. Visiting other countries like what I did recently to Korea is all fun, but to really explore a whole new world, one has gotta try going below the surface and swim next to beautiful coloured fishes.

Shark watching at Sipadan Barracuda Point
A sight to behold, this is the only place in the world you can dive in between the American and Eurasian continents. This is called the Silfra Rift, Iceland!

Fusilier fish — great baitfish, if you can catch them. Found in Raja Ampat Islands which has the highest recorded diversity of fish and coral on earth — an amazing 537 coral species and 1,074 fish species can be found here, according to The Nature Conservancy.
At Tulamben — the wreck of the USAT Liberty is now home to hundreds of marine species. During World War II, a Japanese torpedo sank the USAT Liberty, a U.S. Army transport ship.
Created by British sculptor and scuba diver, Jason deCaires Taylor, the Museum of Underwater Modern Art lies beneath the turquoise waters of Cancun in Mexico. The museum is home to 403 life-sized sculptures which have been individually cast and made using a special cement mix which encourages coral growth. The sculptures reflect Mayan people and symbolise the relationship between humans and nature and the museum is one of the largest artificial reef attractions in the world. Since its opening in 2009, the site has attracted thousands of visitors during scuba diving holidays.
First of it’s kind on earth, the Neptune Memorial Reef. Completely manmade its an underwater mausoleum for cremated remains and the world’s largest man-made reef (covering over 600,000 square feet (56,000 m²) of ocean floor.
Last but not least, a place i learnt while watching Survivor Palau. Is Jelly fish lake. A special lake where you can swim with stingless Jelly Fish! This is definitely on my todo list!!
Wow after looking at these amazing shots, really can’t wait to get myself certified as a diver and see a whole new world underneath the surface. Join me aights! 🙂
